2695 comprises of individual seat and back panels, allowing either to be easily replaced in situ by maintenance staff in the event of damage without the necessity to repair the whole seat or remove it from service.
The gap between the seat and back panels eliminates dirt accumulation at this junction and allows any spilled drinks to drain immediately. The panels incorporate a substantial radius at both the front of the seat and top of the back. This stops the possibility of injury to people’s legs due to accidental impact. The radius to the top of the back provides a neck or armrest without causing discomfort. It also produces a natural space when the seats are abutted back to back, eliminating head clash, and has the further advantage of stopping damage to vertical wall surfaces when placed against them
2695 has been duly tested following exigent biomechanical standards having as result seating units with a balanced comfort, allowing users the most favourable corporal position.
Fire resistance
Padding of seat and back is an integral foam polyurethane system with fire retardant features on both mass and colouring providers. Rest of the components are metallic and therefore non-combustible.
Maintenance
2695 has been designed as a “Zero Maintenance” product. It doesn’t require any kind of special maintenance but regular cleaning with common non-aggresive products. Availability of pieces for replacement or order extensions is continuous.
Cleaning
Polyurethane padding repeals dirt and the most common stains are easily removed. Dirt and fingerprints and stains caused by mineral oils, lubricants, vegetable oils and water-soluble agents (tea, coffee, fruit juices…) can be erased with a cloth or sponge and watery non-aggressive liquid detergents.
